Bevel gearboxes from our catalogue may not be practical or advisable for your application due to differences in gearbox housing dimensions or other reasons. In such cases you may wish to consider purchasing ATEK bevel gear sets.
ATEK supplies bevel gear sets only in spiral-toothed designs, the same as used in series-manufactured gearboxes. They are made to the same high quality standards and supplied from stock. If you cannot find the gear set with the dimensions you require in our dimension lists, please enquire nonetheless. We develop and fabricate customized gear sets in all dimensions and transmission ratios, providing the quantity (series production) is economically viable.
Worm Gear Sets
In applications where use of a series-fabricated gearbox is not advisable, you can use ATEK worm gear sets. The cylindrical worm gearing principle is ideal for coping with minor adjustment errors in assembly but without reducing the efficiency or transmitted power.
The performance tables and calculation guidelines for worm gearboxes can also be used for determining the size of worm gear sets.
