Threaded inserts and the related assembly systems for after-moulding technology are supplied under the name AMTEC®.
These threaded inserts are designed specifically for insertion after removal of components from the mould.
The result provides strong, wear-free, durable threads in high quality plastic components.
The following methods are available for insertion: hot embedding, ultrasonic heat insertion, expansion anchoring or self-tapping.
