switch featuring nine full Gigabit Ethernet ports. Four Gigabit
copper Ethernet ports and five Gigabit copper/SFP combo
ports offering flexibility to configure the best combination of
Gigabit fiber or copper connections to suit high-bandwidth
applications. In addition to providing the flexibility of both
Gigabit and SFP combo ports, the ES8509-XT includes
full layer 2+ management capabilities, advanced security
features, and redundant 10.5 - 60VDC power inputs. The
ES8509-XT carries the NEMA TS2 certification for traffic
markets and is designed for use in harsh environments such
as transportation and railway applications where its wide
operating temperature range and rugged aluminum IP31 rated
enclosure ensure reliability. The ES8509-XT includes a built-in
watchdog timer as well as digital input, and relay output to
provide alarm notification in the case of link failures.
