WATER-OIL HEAT EXCHANGERS WITH TUBE BUNDLE:
They consist of small diameter smooth tubes; this allows the best compromise between high thermic yield and low pressure loss. For a good exchanger practices some oil rates are indicated in the tables. Going down to the lowest rate of flow, indicated in the tables, the low oil speed causes a great loss in yield, whereas a rate of flow which is superior to the maximum indicated, causes great pressure loss and does not considerably increase the thermal yield. The yield diagrams indicate the heat quantity each exchanger can disperse according to the difference between oil and water mean temperatures.
