Power capacitor

Loads of large networks mainly have inductive characteristics. Since asynchronous motors, induction furances, ballast lamps draw inductive currents, they decrease power coefficients of the network they are connected to. The decrease in power coefficient results in voltage reductions and power losses in energy transmission and distribution lines. This case leads to decrease in efficiency. Loads with low power coefficient result in unnecessarily high capacities of alternators, transformer and circuit elements. In this case, it is not possible to utilize the system in an economical manner. Federal low voltage power capacitors utilized to compensate power coefficient are manufactured in accordance with CE.
