Carbide turning insert HEAVY SUPER TURN

for difficult-to-machine materials

ISCAR is introducing the PLBOR/L 5050T-40 tools and LOMX 402224-H6P insert for very heavy turning applications. The new tangentially clamped insert is made from the tough grade IC8250. It can machine at up to 35 mm depth of cut and up to 2 mm/rev feed. The insert is clamped on a very rigid lever lock pocket equipped with a protective seat. The new tools were designed for use in heavy industry applications such as the power generation, marine and large automotive parts.
