Operation
•Spring set friction brake is engaged by spring pressure at a fixed torque and releases with the application of designated air pressure

Mounting
•Spring set brake mounts between a c-face motor and gear reducer
•Not suitable for belt or chain drive (pulley or sprocket output) applications. Consult engineering for options
•Spring set brakes are designed for horizontal mounting. If vertical mounting is required, consult engineering for options

Applications
•Spring set brakes are designed for Stopping and Holding applications
•Maximum RPM varies by model. Please consult the detail sheets (below). Consult engineering if the intended application exceeds the listed maximum RPM.
Design Features
•Enclosed design with aluminum, clear anodized aluminum, or stainless steel housing
