The unit's two-belt system provides a major advantage in that the product is surface-frozen on the top belt, then transferred gently to the slower running lower belt, where it is fully frozen. On a plastic modular belt, product is led past the high velocity airflow known as Arctic Flow®, which blows air over and under the products and then continuously through the evaporators.
The rapid horizontal Arctic Flow® airflow and ultra-low temperature ensure rapid and homogenous freezing in a minimum of time, ensuing a fine-quality product with an equalized core temperature of min. -18ºC. As a special feature, the unit can be supplied with a tray attachment for freezing products packed in trays.
The freezer can be used as a stand-alone unit or as an integrated part of a fully automated processing line.
