Volumetric cartridge dispenser mta automation

Adapted for semi-automatic volumetric dispensing operations, the new mta CD cartridge dispenser is electronically controlled allowing setting of the volume to be dispensed. The CD can be integrated into the platform of mta’s TR 300 table-top robot based on 3 fully programmable numerical axes or on a pneumatic station.

Compared to time/pressure-systems, the CD offers significant advantages:

- Higher precision achieved via the stepper motor.
- Process-security: the plunger is always in contact with the piston of the dispenser. No air cushion between the material and the plunger can occur.
- Independent of product viscosity – a constant force is applied to the material.
- No further customization necessary thanks to standard cartridge type.
- Positioning of the needle is always at the same height independent of the cartridge type used.
- Pullback function to avoid dropping at the nozzle tip.

Furthermore, the CD allows you to:
- Use the same dispenser with other materials by simply unclipping/clipping the cartridge - no adjustments and tools required.
- Avoid cleaning of the dispenser thanks to the zero-contact design.
- Dispense mono-component products such as cyanoacrylate, solder paste, grease or glue.
