The BST Better Than Pyreflect Firesleeve Heat Reflective Sleeve, aluminum coated Kevlar heat reflective sleeve has been performance tested in the lab to 3000°F (1650°C) for 1 minute and it reflects a minimum of 90% of the radiant heat energy. The extreme heat protection of the cable and hose makes this is a perfect option for operations where intermittent radiant infrared flow needs to be blocked. The heat aluminum coated Kevlar heat reflective sleeve is fabricated from heat reflective fire blanket. The double layers of aluminum coating and a protective film, are laminated to a unique heavy grade aramid fiber cloth using a heat stable adhesive, so that the aluminum layers will not delaminate from the cloth, even under the most extreme heat conditions.
