OEP Couplings
Most shaft couplings accommodate only very small angular misalignment that might unintentionally result form small mounting errors or thermal expansion. Universal joints, on the other hand, are used as a linkage between two intentionally misaligned shafts, with angular misalignment of up to 45 degrees.
