Operating Method
As a result of the horizontally fitted aeration cylinder with aeration elements, the water in the aeration tank is enriched with oxygen from the environment and the water is made to circulate at the same time.

Benefits/Special Features
Aeration and circulation using one single unit; no additional circulation units required up to a water depth of 4 m. Can also be used in deep tanks of up to 7.5 m in conjunction with horizontal agitator mechanisms.

Design
The aeration cylinder of the mammoth rotor consists of a hollow shaft to which a number of aeration elements are clamped. The drive in the case of the 1,000 mm rotor is a mitre spur gear, in the case of the 700 mm mammoth rotor, a spur gear with preceding V-belt stage.
