Protem presents type US40CH pipe bevelling machine. The machine is lightweight and has low overall dimensions. It has been specifically developed for use in restricted areas, such as boilers. The US40 CH is capable of facing, beveling, and counter boring tubes and pipes. Its machining and clamping capacity is between 43 mm ID to 120 mm OD. The standard tool plate can accommodate multiple tool bits. As a result, it allows simultaneous machining tasks. US40 CH has a self-accepting torque mechanism and a built-in drive motor. The machine is sturdy and can perform repeatable weld preparations with high quality. It can handle materials such as alloys, stainless steel duplex, super duplex, inconel, etc. Bevel forms include bevel face or multiple angle bevel. Clamping is manual, using key. US40CH allows expansion of 15mm. It has a pneumatic drive with 730 watt of power. It can handle working pressure of 6 bar. Air intake is 1400 l/min. Optional equipment is available on request.
