Below are the units available from Renold Gears with right angle shaft configurations. Most units are offered as a modular design with hollow output bore , or the option of plug-in output shaft.
All wormshafts are precision hardened and ground with centrifugally cast wormwheel rims electron beam welded to their centre, for high efficiency and strength.

PM Series - PB Type: Available with 12 standard ratios up to 160:1 with a maximum output torque of 12000Nm; Max Power: 84kW Max Torque: 12000NM.
PM Series - PH Type: Available with a ratio range of 16:1 to 333:1 offering a maximum output torque of 6800Nm; Max Power: 43kW Max Torque: 8400NM.
WM Series: Available with 4" - 9" centres and ratios of 5:1 to 70:1 as a single reduction unit and 75:1 to 4900:1 as a double reduction. Foot, flange and shaft mounted types available; Max Power: 115kW Max Torque: 6000NM.
TW Series - (Titan): Wormgear unit, single reduction up to 70:1 ratio and double reduction up to 4900:1; Max Power: 1361kW Max Torque: 165000NM.
HC Series - (Hercules): Bevel Helical gear unit, foot and shaft mounted types available; Max Power: 2300kW Max Torque: 287000NM.
