Electric linear rotary actuator SMAC

Programmable electric linear rotary actuators with either direct drive or gearbox equipped rotary units. Fully programmable in force/torque, velocity and position with 100% data capture and feed back facility. Standard linear resolution is 5micron with 1micron and 0.5micron options available.

The SMAC unique “Softland” routine within the actuator allows the rod to approach at high speed then land on the surface of a component with a low programmable force. This unique feature is extremely useful whenever delicate or high value components are being handled.

SMAC electric actuators are used widely in packaging, labelling, automotive, SMT, robotics, pharmaceutical, medical assembly, laser cutting, high speed scanning, glass cutting, dispensing, switch testing, spot welding, soldering & measuring applications to name but a few.
