Rope Belcotex® 110 Fibre Packing (Stainless Steel Overbraid)

Belcotex® 110 Fibre Packing (Stainless Steel Overbraid): our Belcotex® 110 Fibre packings are braided entirely using 9µ short staple fibre silica yarns. It causes little irritation and are resistant to 1000°C. Standard density packings have good spring-back and consequently high resistance to breaking. The base fibres are inorganic, sterile and flame proof and they have low thermal conductivity, are resistance to oils and they do not rust. The material exhibits excellent chemical stability resisting attack from organic agents, water and hot acids (except hydrofluoric acid). It does not vitrify and is an excellent substitution for ceramic fibre rope packing. There is absolutely no itching or irritation whatsoever unlike standard glass, leached silica and refractory ceramic fibres. It also has a cashmere like feel.
