GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
The sensor consists of a rotor vane that is rotated by the speed of the
flowing medium. The speed of rotation is proportional to the volume of
the flow per unit time. The measurement is effected by a variety of
sensors depending on the individual housing materials of the
transmitter. With some sensors a LED indication is integrated as an
optical indication that the sensor is working.
