Dust collectors have either a disposable or a renewable filter. Shaker models use a renewable filter which is cleaned by vibration.
ApplicationsTraditionally, dust collector filters have been cleaned by mechanical means. However, this method is being increasingly replaced by compressed air jet and reverse air systems, which use much less energy.
TechnologiesA motor-driven mechanism shakes the filter medium, removing the filter cake. Since this procedure is possible only in offline mode, the collector is modular, the different chambers being cleaned one after the other. Once cleaned, the machine can be returned to service.
