The KNTECH Voice Message System is a pure software voice-messaging solution that enables network-wide advanced voice mail services across any voice network infrastructure, providing messaging access from internal or external telephone devices. The KNTECH IP Touch phone GUI is designed for ease of use so end users require minimal training. Includes Automatic Gain Control (AGC) to dynamically regulate volume for both recording and playback.

Overview and operation
The system can designate a staff extension to provide personalized call answering support: when a mailbox owner (boss) is unavailable the VMS can automatically route calls to a designated staff member. Callers may leave messages in the boss's mailbox or dial another extension. The boss forwarding function can be automatically disabled outside office hours or when the designated staff indicates unavailability. If forwarded staff cannot take the call and the caller leaves a message, the message is stored in the boss's mailbox.

• Experienced users may bypass voice prompts by entering command strings to execute commands without playing full prompts.
• Configurable ringing duration before an unanswered call is routed to the CVMS at both individual user and user class levels.
• Message Waiting Lamp (MWL) remains on or blinking until all new voice mail messages in the mailbox are acknowledged/retrieved.
