The AD-4212F series of high-capacity weigh modules are ideally designed for integration into automated systems for industries where materials/tares to be weighed are becoming heavier and heavier, such as the electronic vehicle battery manufacturing industry. Thanks to an integrated A/D converter, the AD-4212F series outputs digital weighing data directly to a PLC or PC without requiring a separate, space-consuming display unit. For connection to a PLC, it supports RS-485, which allows for daisy-chain connection of multiple units, as well as RS-232C. In addition, A&D offer various peripherals to convert RS-232C to EtherNet/IP, Modbus-RTU, CC-Link, BCD, etc. The AD-4212F series is accident-proof as it is protected from spillage of liquid or powder materials at the IP65 level, which also makes cleaning after use easy. On the other hand, with the Impact Shock Detection (ISD) function, the AD-4212F series helps design systems so that error-causing and potentially damaging impact loads to its weight sensor can be avoided. Using the free dedicated software WinCT-AD4212F, detailed response characteristics settings can be configured to optimize the performance of the weigh module under the given installation environment. Moreover, the Weighing Data Simulator (WDS) function of the software makes this task easier as it simulates and visualizes the effect of each setting change for comparison.
