Today the increased fossil fuel combustion at power plants and other industrial facilities has led to higher concentrations of SO2 emissions. The Serinus® 50 sulfur dioxide (SO2) uses proven pulsed UV fluorescent radiation technology to measure SO2 in ambient air (LDL < 0.3 ppb, range 0 to 20 ppm). Delivering a steady stream of precise and reliable data, it is empowering governments and organisations to reduce their greenhouse footprint, while complying with global regulations

Advanced GUI and a large alphanumeric keypad with tactile keys.
ERGONOMIC DESIGN
Rack slide design for easy access to internal components and analyser removal from a rack cabinet.
LOW POWER DEMAND
Reduced AQMS power usage due to the instrument’s low power demand and ability to operate over a wide temperature range.
Pulsed UV fluorescent radiation technology
The measurement of Sulfur Dioxide is based on classical fluorescence spectroscopy principles. SO2 exhibits a strong ultraviolet (UV) absorption spectrum between 200 to 240 nm. When SO2 absorbs UV at this wavelength, photon emission occurs (300 to 420 nm). The amount of fluorescence emitted is directly proportional to the SO2 concentration.
