Overview / DesignRotary-lobe blowers developed for installation in tankers and silo trucks. Designed for extended pressure differentials up to 1.2 bar. Conveyance in two directions possible using either horizontal or vertical flow. Oil-free, proven technology.
Design details- Two-lobe rotor design
- Conveying chamber completely separated from oil sumps by an atmosphere-open space
- Machine can be installed upright, suspended from top, or suspended left or right
- Operating speed range: 1,500 to 3,200 1/min
- Drive side: grease-lubricated; gear side: splash oil-lubricated. Gear-driven models feature splash oil lubrication on both sides; oil level check by dipstick
Shaft sealingsThe conveying chamber is sealed by four piston rings combined with oil slingers adjacent to the vent space. The drive shaft is sealed by a seal ring. Gear-driven models are sealed by a radial seal ring.
Direction of flowBoth directions possible in horizontal or vertical flow.
DriveAvailable with direct coupling or narrow V-belt drive.
