Linear potentiometer displacement sensors are suitable for motion control and position measurement. This potentiometer is coupled to the drum, so the mechanical movement is converted into a resistance value according to the movement of the mobile. The sensor provides a direct ohmic value on a range going up to 1250 mm. • Range up to 1250 mm • Output signal : • - 1kΩ ; 5kΩ ; 10kΩ • Standard linearity : • - +/- 0,50% for a range up to 500 mm (+/-0,25% optional) • - +/- 0,15% for a range from 500 to 1250 mm (+/-0,10% optional) • Resolution : • - Quasi infinite (depends on the measuring device)
