Main features
Printed antennas produced by Alper are used in a wide range of vehicle on-board communication functions such as DAB, TV and IoT connectivity. Production on flexible substrates with complex geometries enables optimal installation in confined spaces and unconventional shapes commonly required in modern vehicle design.

Materials and performance
Alper manufactures printed antennas on PET thin-film substrates using silver conductive inks. These thin-film antennas are lightweight, flexible and suitable for integration into body panels, interior trims and other vehicle components.

Applications

On-board vehicle communication (DAB, TV)

IoT connectivity in automotive and related environments

Telecommunications and industrial applications requiring reliable connectivity

Characteristics / Technical specifications

Maximum dimensions: 1000x600 mm (custom dimensions available)

Adhesive application using a range of double-sided adhesives selected per use case

Optional adhesive aluminium ground planes as antenna complements

Custom designs available to customer specifications

Substrate temperature limits:

Minimum: -40 °C

Maximum: 90 °C (continuous)

Maximum: 100 °C (short periods)

Note: Component supplied as an unfinished part.
