IP69 (IP69K)
The CH50-87.DIA83 enclosure is the result of integrating the CH50 and CH87 predecessors, both of which met IP69 certification requirements. The CH50-87.DIA83 itself has not yet been officially certified as a standalone product.

Passive cooling as secondary protection for the camera and lens
As with the CH50, the housing provides passive cooling that reduces camera temperature. Temperature-history tests show that without the cover camera heat is transferred to the lens, while with the housing heat dissipation keeps the lens slightly cooler.

Housing dimensions and camera mount
The CH50-87.DIA83 offers a rear inner diameter of 50 mm for the camera section and a front inner diameter of 87 mm for the lens section. The clear aperture of the front glass is 83 mm to minimise image vignetting. Cover length is selected per customer requirement. The camera mounts to the internal bracket with 2 screws M2 or M3 (standard prepared for M2 with 18 mm pitch). For other cameras the mount can be prepared with M3 spacing. Firm fixation under high vibration is achieved by pressure using a special expansion piece included in the delivery.
