Product overview- Sensor type: Digital tilt sensor
- Sensor technology: MEMS fluidic
- Number of sensitive directions: Uniaxial
- Output signal: CAN/CANopen
- Measurement range [°]: 360
TechnologyThe ASC TSF is based on proven MEMS technology with a fluidic operating principle. The integrated electronics accept a supply voltage from 9 to 36 VDC. Analog measurement signals are digitized internally and transmitted via the CAN/CANopen interface. Thanks to internal compensation the uniaxial tilt sensor provides accuracy < 0.15° over the full 360° range and a temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C, with a resolution of 0.01°.
HousingThe tilt sensors use a robust aluminum housing with protection class IP67 and a standard 5-pin M12 CAN connector.
ApplicationsEasy integration makes the tilt sensors particularly suitable for system monitoring of cranes and construction machinery, orientation of solar collectors and for agricultural vehicles in the field.
