The BIOX unit consists of two cabinets for continuous biogas measurement.
An electrical box, to be placed in a safe area, consisting of a PLC with a color touch screen, enables :
Controls solenoid valves and other components located in the ATEX cabinet.
Visualization and processing of sensors located in ATEX zones.
An ATEX-certified cabinet with the following components:
Sample treatment with cooler, primary filter, condensate trap and particle filter
Configurable automatic purge algorithm.
Infrared sensor for methane (CH4) measurement.
Paramagnetic sensor for oxygen (O2) measurement.
An electrochemical sensor for measuring hydrogen sulfide (H2S).
An oxygen supply system for electrochemical measurement.
CO2 can be measured by subtracting the O2 and CH4 values measured.
The enclosures are made of glass-fiber-reinforced polyester with an antistatic charge.
All components in contact with the gas are made of 316L stainless steel and PTFE.
The gas circulation system in the sensors, as well as the cooler, run on compressed air.
