This electronic transducer is designed to measure the force applied in a tensioned cable without dismantling.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE :
Shear force measurement using strain gauges. The deflection of the cable through the transducer produces a force proportional to the force applied to the cable.
The stresses generated in the transducer are measured by the strain gauges, which generate a 4-20 mA signal.
The aluminium body of the transducer is treated to resist corrosion in severe conditions.
This device is intrinsically safe. It can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
ATEX MARKING : Ex II 1G Ex ia IIB or IIC T3Ga.
2 standard measurement scales: 6 and 10 tonnes.
Clamping screws do not require greasing.
