The EPMB Lang is an electro-permanent battery lifting magnet that is independent of the mains supply. It is used for the safe lifting of long, thin workpieces from a material thickness of just 4 mm. It combines the safety advantages of a permanent magnet with the ease of use of an electromagnet: magnetization and demagnetization are possible at the touch of a button and can optionally be operated fully automatically by remote control with integrated inching function. Professional advantages: - Automatic magnetizing and demagnetizing of the workpiece by AUTO mode - 3 times safety factor and additional safety feature to drop accidentially the load in the air - Scaled or rough surface can be mastered - No current flow during lifting – the magnet is magnetized or demagnetized by pulse current only - Usable in multi-shift operations, because approx. 300 switches are possible
