Description

The 4078C Series Arbitrary/Function Waveform Generators are versatile high-performance dual-channel arbitrary waveform generators comprised of a 30 MHz and 50 MHz model. They provide variable output voltages from 0 to 10 Vp-p into 50 ohms or up to 20 Vp-p into an open circuit, and a DC offset to bias the output signal at a desired level. With up to 250 MSa/s sampling rate and 16-bit amplitude resolution, these instruments produce high fidelity waveforms without skipping points. Easily generate arbitrary waveforms of up to 4 million points from the front panel using the built-in editor tool. Additional features include AM, FM, and FSK modulation, frequency sweep capabilities, and variable edge pulse generation. Generate waveforms up to 30 MHz (4078C) and 50 MHz (4079C) 2 channels with dedicated output ON/OFF buttons for each channel Up to 250 MSa/s sampling rate Waveform length up to 4 Mpts/ch 16-bit amplitude resolution Linear and logarithmic sweep Modulation techniques include: AM, FM, PM, BPSK, and FSK Continuous, triggered, burst, and gate modes Internal/external triggering and programmable markers Variable DC offset ± 5 V Low jitter < 25 ps 4.3-inch LCD and internal memory to store/recall instrument setups USB (USBTMC-compliant) and LAN interfaces standard Overload protection of outputs cTUVus certification marks fulfills CSA and UL safety standards
