The R50C MDR Controller helps keep control of conveyors and other equipment in one system and gives system designers more efficient control of motor driven rollers using a PLC and Modbus® communication. Two configurable I/O channels and a 0–18 volt output provide precision MDR control. Standard A-coded M12 connectors for signal and L-coded M12 connectors for daisy chaining motor power simplify installation of multiple motor driven roller controllers on a conveyor.
• Easily control motor driven rollers from a PLC using Modbus communication
• Simple system integration via direct connection to PLCs using Modbus RTU, or through DXM gateways using common Ethernet protocols, keeps control of conveyors and other equipment in one system
• Two discrete channels can be configured as inputs or outputs to control start/stop, direction, or define error conditions
• 0–18 volt analog output provides precise speed control for both regular and high-speed motor-driven roller systems
• Modbus RTU communication allows full speed control via the PLC, which static DIP switches commonly found on other MDR controllers cannot
• Simplify installation of multiple R50Cs on a conveyor using standard A-coded M12 connectors for signals and L-coded M12 connectors for daisy chaining up to 16 amps of motor power
• All connections use compact, sealed, industry-standard M12 connectors
• L-coded M12 pass-through connections handle up to 16 amps of power that can be shared among all controllers in series to satisfy higher-current demands of motor-driven rollers
