Description

Overview
The IOM441-S relay module extends Bender base units (e.g. EDS44x) by providing 12 potential-free relay outputs. Alarm messages from the base device are converted into switching commands for the relays. Communication and power supply between the base device and the module are handled via the Bender backbone bus (BB bus) located at the rear. Firmware updates, parameter transfer and storage of switching states are supported via the BB bus. Note: some base units permit only one IOM441-S to be connected (see respective base unit datasheet).
