Description

Product overview
02-661 NTron Oxygen sensor, SenzTx-100 (0–1000 ppm) O2. The SenzTx-100 compact oxygen transmitter measures residual O2 for nitrogen generation and can be supplied with measuring ranges up to 0–96% O2 for oxygen concentrators. The minimum output range of 0–10 ppm is ideal for nitrogen generation or glove box monitoring. Multiple process connection and output options are available for flexible OEM and generator integration.

Sensor construction
The main body is manufactured from high-density PVDF with a stainless-steel supporting ring at the sensor face. This construction provides chemical resistance to most sampling atmospheres and compatibility with trace solvents and hydrocarbons in sample gas, unlike high-temperature zirconia sensors.

Installation flexibility
The compact SenzTx transmitter includes an internal microprocessor for OEM use with minimal inputs. A flow-through sensor with orifice option allows operation up to 0.5 bar gauge and can provide correct flow without external flow control. The compact design supports near-process mounting and easy OEM integration.

Operational guidance
  • Regular calibration on delivery and at planned intervals is recommended to ensure accurate oxygen level monitoring.
  • Use the sensor for continuous monitoring of oxygen levels in nitrogen output; inspect for irregularities and replace sensors as required (zirconia sensors typically 3–5 years lifespan).
  • Set N2 sample pressure to a maximum of 0.3 bar with minimal flow from the product tank for accurate N2 purity measurement.
  • Train operators and maintenance staff on correct use, calibration and maintenance to optimise sensor lifetime and measurement reliability.

Nitrogen purity and residual oxygen (selection guidance)
Required N2 Purity | Maximum Residual O2 | Recommended Analyzer Range
99.0% | 1% / 10,000 ppm | Percentage O2 Analyzer
99.5% | 0.5% / 5,000 ppm | Percentage O2 Analyzer
99.9% | 0.1% / 1,000 ppm | 0–1,000 ppm Oxygen Analyzer
99.99% | 0.01% / 100 ppm | Low-ppm Oxygen Analyzer
99.999% | 0.001% / 10 ppm | Trace Oxygen Analyzer
