Product informationThe UltraCam LD 500/510 is an ultrasonic acoustic camera that uses 30 MEMS microphones to calculate and visualise an ultrasound image. It converts inaudible ultrasound into audible signals and displays the exact leak location on the screen, enabling fast leak finding in noisy production environments.
Key features- Visual indication of leak location on the screen
- Detect leaks during production without interrupting plant operation
- Intuitive operation with minimal training required
- Audio output via headphones to hear leak source
- 5 LEDs and ambient light sensor for adaptive illumination in dark environments
- Leak estimation function (l/min or cfm) and annual cost calculation
- Typical running time: 7–9 hours depending on usage
- Very lightweight acoustic camera (camera approx. 600 g; weight without headset 540 g)
- Compatible with existing LD 500 / LD 510 units and accessories
Applications and measurements- Leak detection: identify and locate leaks in compressed air systems and quantify size to prioritise repairs
- Pressure drop measurement: measure pressure losses in systems to locate critical areas
- Air flow rate calculation: estimate lost airflow from leaks to assess wasted volume and energy costs
Documentation and connectivity- Photographic documentation of detected leaks
- USB export of leak details for desktop analysis
- Data logging via 16 GB SD card (large recording capacity)
- Support for creating ISO 50001 energy audit reports
