Description

Mechanical feeder
  • Spouts supported: 281 Standard and Deep, 703, 715 in single, double or triple gob configurations
  • Adjustable shearing angle: standard configuration from 30° right to 90° left; symmetric configuration from 30° left to 90° right
  • Enhanced mechanical components: bearing type 7" stroke plunger linkage, oil-bath shear mechanism, pneumatic spring
  • Optional upgrades: stand-alone tube rotation inverter control (RTC) and electrical tube height adjustment (THD)


Servo feeder mechanism
  • Direct retrofit for existing mechanical feeders supporting 281, 703 and 715 spouts
  • Servo motor provides consistent, repeatable feeding up to 240 cuts/min
  • Oil-bath gearbox for extended life of mechanical parts
  • Supports multiple gob weights for sampling and variable production


Servo Shear Mechanism
  • Dual-motor drive
  • Arcuate (curved) cut motion
  • Transmission by crank and connecting rod
  • Independent movement for each shear arm
  • Maximum frequency: 220 cuts/min
