Type: CCS Sensitivity: 100 mV/g Min. Temp: -50 °C Max. Temp: +150 °C Hazardous area approval: no Accessory/ connection cable type: AC-439 Accessory/ mounting equipment: AC-3360: threaded bolt, 1/4″ – 28 UNF to M8 AC-3361: threaded bolt, 1/4″ – 28 UNF to 1/4″- 28 UNF UA1281: Magnet mount including glue-on disc Use for accelerometers 8325, 8326, 8455 The AS-080/01 acceleration sensor ismainly used to measure accelerationin high temperature applications(max. 150 °C). Measuring Principle Acceleration sensors operate inaccordance with the piezoelectriccompression principle. Inside thesensor, a spring/mass dampingsystem is formed by a piezoceramicelement and an internal sensor mass. When introducing vibrations to thissystem, the mass exerts an alternatingforce on the ceramic element and, dueto the piezoelectric effect, induces anelectric charge that is proportional tothe vibration acceleration.
