Description

Sensitivity: 75 mV/mm/s (+/- 2%) Measuring direction: horizontal and vertical Hazardous area approval: no Connection cable type: Integrated The velocity sensors ofBrüel & Kjær Vibro measuremechanical vibrations in the frequency range 1 Hz to 2,000 Hz.Their high level of reliability hasbeen proven by long-term installations in industry. Velocity sensors are used for themeasurement of the • absolute casing vibrations • absolute bearing vibrations in machines. Coordinated solutions The resonant frequencies of thevelocity sensors are at 8 Hz or15 Hz depending upon their different constructional features.Through electronic linearization ofthe respective frequency range itis possible to also measure vibrations that lie well below theseresonant frequencies with highaccuracy. The measuring andmonitoring instruments ofBrüel & Kjær Vibro operate withlinearization circuits which areexactly tuned to the characteristics of our velocity sensors.
