Fully automatic drum turner designed for precise and gentle turning of workpieces and slabs in throughfeed. The unit is intended for completely unmanned operation and for flexible integration into conveyor systems.

Function and operation
The drum turner performs precise and gentle turning of workpieces and slabs while they remain in throughfeed. Driven roller conveyors are integrated for feeding and discharging; these rollers are pneumatically height-adjustable to match the working height of upstream and downstream conveyor systems. Pneumatic clamping devices in the roller conveyors prevent workpiece slippage and scratching and enable safe turning of kitchen tops with cutouts. Through-feed is possible from both sides: parts can be turned or simply passed through. The drum turner can be flexibly integrated into complex conveyor sequences.
