Description
The GL ... TR Series features fits between the GL freewheel, the D2 cover flange and the TRASCO flexible joint with a precision fit. The flanged freewheel and the joint are normally fitted by the client in the required direction of rotation by using the gaskets and screws supplied. Shaft tolerances must be h6 or j6. The flexible joint is used to absorb vibrations and compensate axial movements or angle errors without causing excessive loading on the bearings. Either grease or oil lubrication must be applied to the freewheel before operation, following instructions given on page 12.
