With hydraulic lifting The cable drum unwider is made of 2 frames which are mechanically welded. Each frame is fitted with 2 rolls, heavy load, Ø 89mm, length 235mm, each one secured in a shoe. The set (shoes + rear roller) can be removable to allow the setting of the drum; once it's done, it is later out back in place , the closest to the drum and secured by pins. The set (shoes + front roller), is pushed by an hydraulic jack with a 10 tons force ( manual pump action) and this generates the lifting of the drum from the ground. Guide roller at side onto the rear roll. Max Cable drum width nearly endless.
