Slitting Technologies & Edge Sealing Solutions
Every textile behaves differently during converting. Our machines are compatible with multiple slitting technologies to deliver clean cuts and fray-free edges.

• Hot knife slitting (thermal cutting) – The preferred solution for synthetic textiles, simultaneously cutting and sealing the edges to eliminate fraying.
• Ultrasonic slitting– Advanced technology producing perfectly sealed edges without burning nor overthickness, particularly valued for medical textiles such as gauze and nonwovens.
• Razor blade cutting– Ideal for films, lightweight nonwovens and selected coated materials.
• Crush cutting (rotary knives on hardened steel anvil roll) – Highly efficient for thicker materials or high-speed converting.
• Shear cutting (intermeshing rotary knives) – Recommended for technical textiles and upholstery fabrics requiring superior edge quality.

Whatever the selected cutting technology, our textile slitting machines produce finished rolls with uniform winding tension, excellent edge quality and reliable downstream processing.
