Description

Aramid yarns Characteristics The packing style GF7600K is produced with a special braiding process. It is made with GORE® GFO® and aramid yarns on the corners for improving the resistance to the extrusion and reduce the wear of the sealing, increasing the pressure at which it can be used. Applications The compression packing GF7600K is recommended for dynamic applications. Specialized both for the reciprocating and the centrifugal pumps it can also be used successfully on the mixers and the agitators, for all services with industrial fluids compatible with graphite, PTFE and aramidic fibers. The GF7600K packing has shown particular aptitude for sealing slurry too. The gland packing GF7600K is braided with two yarns. This manufacturing technique wants to reinforce the corners of the packing which are, in the dynamic applications, the parts most stressed and subject to wear.
