Description

Aramid yarns Characteristics The style GF7676 is a special packing produced with an innovative braiding technique. It is made with GORE® GFO® and aramid yarns combined in the "zebra" mode to improve the resistance to the extrusion and to reduce the wear of the sealing. Applications The compression packing style GF7676 is recommended for all dynamic services with the industrial fluids compatible with graphite, PTFE and aramidic fibers. The GF7676 packing has shown particular aptitude for sealing on the slurry pumps intended for moving the water for industrial use towards the filtration and demineralization cycles. The gland packing GF7676 is made according to the "zebra" design with two yarns. This manufacturing technique is aimed to make a packing that enhances the main features of both yarns.
