Description

The insulation fastener IPD 8 with zinc plated steel nail is ETA approved for ETICS (External thermal insulation composite systems) and suitable for fastening solid insulation boards, e.g. polystyrene hard foam boards. The IPD 8 is made of impact resistant plastics and is reinforced by a galvanised steel nail. The plastic-coated nail head additionally protects the plug when hammered in. Drill a drill hole through the insulation material and push / hammer the insulation fastener in – easy and fast. The stable design and impact resistant material prevent bending when hitting in, while the textured surface of the plate provides a good bond for plaster. The IPD-8 is suitable for a variety of base materials, like concrete, many hollow and solid bricks, areated concrete or sand-lime bricks. Applications Fastening of pressure-resistante insulation boards Further specifications Key features: Suitable for fastening solid insulation boards, for ETICS (External thermal insulation composite systems) The textured disc surface provides a good bond for plaster Stable design and impact resistant material prevents bending when hitting in ETA approved for external thermal insulation composite systems Complies with the Regulation of Thermal Installations of Buildings 1027/2007 (RITE) Base materials: Concrete Natural stone Aerated concrete Solid brick Solid sand-lime brick Lightweight solid concrete block Hollow brick Hollow sand-lime block Lightweight hollow concrete block
