The structure of the bogie is based on a welded H-frame supported on both axles by primary coil spring suspension. Hydraulic shock absorbers provide a connection between the axle box and the bogie frame. A hemispherical support plate and two side plates provide the connection between the bogie frame and the locomotive frame. The lower part of the support is located in order to limit the effects of cabbing which can lead to loss of adhesion when taking off heavy loads. A version of this bogie with a high centre plate is also available.
With a wheelbase of 2.5m guaranteeing very good stability up to 100 km/h, the bogie is available in a carrier or engine version with several types of possible transmissions. For the DC solution, the bogie is available with the mounting of one or two CFD traction motors. There is also a version for conventional cardan shaft drive, in which case two mechanically connected CFD drive axles are available. Each axle is equipped with air brake blocks with and without parking brake.
