The ROBA®-capping head is a magnetic safety coupling based on the hysteresis principle. Magnetic forces transmit the torque of the torque limiting clutch contactlessly and synchronously from the input side to the output side. After an overload has occurred, the clutch slips, i.e. the input and output sides move at a relative speed - the so-called slip speed - to each other. In case of overload, the clutch torque is equal to the set torque.
