Product description
Benchtop pneumatic capper for controlled-torque tightening of twist-off and plastic screw caps. Stainless steel base. Manual height adjustment of the capping head via handwheel and counter; standard maximum container height 350 mm (customizable). Vertical pressure on the cap and torque are adjustable. Adjustable container locking via pneumatic piston. Mechanical neck-grip for low-density plastic bottles. Custom PVC centering/positioning devices available for small bottles.

Operation
Operator adjusts head height and torque according to container and cap dimensions, places the cap in the spindle or on the container mouth, then actuates the two base-side buttons to close the cap. Torque is set by air supply pressure and remains constant and repeatable once adjusted. A spring-loaded compensator softens the contact phase between cap and container.

Pneumatic / Power requirements
The capper is fully pneumatic and must be supplied by a compressor with oil-free air. Recommended characteristics:

• Compressor power: 2 HP
• Tank capacity: ≥ 80 L
• Air flow: ≥ 300 Nl/min
• Recommended oil-less system (optionally silenced for operator comfort)
• Pneumatic components designed to run dry (no lubrication required)

The pneumatic vane motor has a stainless steel casing and is available in variants depending on required torque. Torque is adjusted via air pressure; a spring compensator ensures soft, repeatable contact independent of head descent speed.

Format change
A dedicated spindle (starting head) is required per cap format. Available solutions: stainless steel or aluminum body; balls and spring for cap insertion; friction rubber or internal knurling to match cap shape. Magnetic chucks available for metal twist-off caps:
