It cornes with a generous and robust 500 mm wide bench with lengths of up to 6 meters between the tips. The travel of the x axis allows the entire diameter allowed on the bench to be machined with any turret applied. It is placed between the Picodue evo and Picotre evo models to complété a range oflathes capable of satisfying any process. With high précision spindle lines, center heights of up to 450 mm and spindle holes of 110, 130 and 160 mm, it guarantees high levels of precision and degrees offinishing, thanks to the refined mechanics and quality components used for its construction. Head Extremely rigid monobloc casting, it houses the spindle assembled on high-precision bearings in order to obtain high-levelgearprécision and roughness. Casehardened and tempered spindle shaft, finely ground and virtually maintenance free as a resuit of the lifetime lubrication performed with spécialgrease, housed in thermally stable casting, noise reduced to the minimum. Axes X and Z Equipped with IS05 ground recirculating bail screws preloaded with 0 clearance and fitted on précision bearings, the relevant motors are aligned with said screws to ensure high dynamics and rigidity. The cmX evo stands out for its accélération, speed andpowerperformance thanks to the spécial configuration ofhigh torque motors. Lu- brication of the screws and guides is guaranteed by a high-pressure pump with mul- ti-point distribution and dosing valves to ensure even distribution ofthe oil and low contamination ofthe coolant. Ail power supply cables ofthe varions motors and device are entirelyprotected by sheathing having IP 67protection rating.
