insulation monitor for medical applications
for medical applications
The HRI-R40 is used for taking accurate measurements of insulation resistance. The application of a direct current signal between the isolated line and earth is used to measure insulation resistance. The measurement of the leakage current to earth enables the level of insulation to be ascertained. The device has a sophisticated digital filter enabling accuracy of measurement despite heavy interference and either high harmonic or direct-current components.
It is freely programmable via the device's user-friendly digital display menu and four selection keys. The thermal and electric overload of the insulating transformer is thoroughly monitored by the HRI-R40 which thus manages the PTC and PT100 probes. By connecting a current transformer and setting necessary alarm thresholds, the electric overload monitoring of the medical transformer is also under testing. Remote control of the alarms is facilitated by the connection of up to four PR signalling panels.
