Overview The Hydra-Test HT-TEHCM is a handheld TEHCM transmission interface for bench checking, valve body testing and dynamometer testing of TEHCM-equipped transmissions. It enables verification of mechanical operation, sensor feedback and shift control, and supports integration with existing dyno or VBT controllers via analog outputs. The touchscreen interface and firmware-upgradeable architecture simplify setup and updates.

Key capabilities

• Power and bench-check TEHCM modules to identify electrical faults.
• Execute valve-body mode shift tests on valve body test machines: sequence gears, vary line pressure, apply/release TCC.
• Perform full transmission shift tests on a dyno with gear sequencing, line pressure control and TCC control.
• Monitor internal sensors and signals (range, temperature, speed sensors, pressure switches).
• Read, display and clear active or stored DTCs.
• Flash blank TEHCMs with dyno test calibrations and erase units to a re-green state.
• Interface with analog outputs on VBT or dyno controllers to allow external sequencing.
